My name is Jim Root and I have been married to my lovely wife Holly for fourteen years. I have three children; Mallory, Stephanie and Jason. I have a son-in-law Shad and two grandchildren, Madyson and Scarlet. I was raised in a Christian home and have been a Royal Rangers Kid Commander for four years.

I own a tool sales & service company in Sharonville and am a Lieutenant with the City of Franklin of Fire, where I have served since 1982. I strongly believe Proverbs 22:6 which says "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it." I have an outdoor garden railroad and enjoy camping and hiking and spending as much time as possible with my family. I look forward to the opportunity of mentoring your son in the Royal Ranger Ministry.
